Olabisi Joseph, President of the Nigeria School Sport Federation (NSSF), has commended the organisers of the Dolphin Swimming League—Nigeria’s premier inter-school swimming competition—for their consistency and vital role in nurturing young talent.

Speaking as a special guest at the Season 6 award ceremony held in Lagos on July 5, Joseph expressed her admiration for the league’s impact:

“I am thrilled to be part of this award ceremony for the first time. The performance of these young swimmers, both nationally and internationally, is truly inspiring. Some even outperformed established athletes at the recent National Sports Festival. I commend the parents, guardians, and schools for their unwavering support, and I applaud Dynaspro Sports Promotion Limited for their steadfast commitment to this competition.”

Also speaking at the event, Samuel Jesimiel, Technical Director of the Nigeria Aquatic Federation, highlighted the league’s growing influence:

“The Dolphin Swimming League continues to be a breeding ground for future champions. Four of its athletes have been selected to represent Nigeria at the upcoming African School Games in Algeria later this month.”
