Outstanding schools and students from Season Five of the annual Dolphin Swimming League will be honoured at an award ceremony scheduled for Saturday, July 5, at St. Saviour’s School, Ikoyi.

This premier private inter-school swimming competition continues to spotlight emerging talents, many of whom have gone on to achieve national recognition. Participation has grown steadily, with more schools joining each year.

According to the organisers, the two-hour ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and will feature the presentation of numerous awards to exceptional schools and students from Season Five. The event aims to celebrate excellence and inspire even greater performances in future editions.

All participating schools are expected to attend, and the event will be graced by the main sponsor, Rite Foods, adding colour and excitement to the celebration in Lagos.

More than 10 schools competed in Season Five, with several records broken by the young swimmers. Plans are already underway to deliver an even more impressive Season Six.

Meanwhile, the organisers have commended several swimmers who participated in the 22nd National Sports Festival, Gateway Games 2024, describing the event as a valuable platform for showcasing their talents on a national stage.
